Chirping Osprey Sings to the Sunrise

From early spring through late summer, we hear the cheep, cheep, cheep of the Ospreys in Colonial Beach. Then all of a sudden, the town falls silent and feels so lonely. Diane Dix Massa who follows the Mary Todd and Abe breeding pair and chicks shared this lonely member of the Lincoln family chirping a salute to the sunrise. We miss them when they are gone, but then the eagles venture back into town and are beautiful too; less easy to spot though. They're not as vociferous.
